Theresa Landry: Executive Director
Theresa grew up in the Waterloo area, and brings with her many years experience in the
Hospitality and Health Industries, enjoying successful progressive
positions after graduating from the George Brown Gerontology and
Activation Program. Theresa as the Executive Director is responsible for
the operation of Emmanuel Village.
Nick Cullaton: Executive Chef
Nick comes to us from
Conestoga College Chef Program. He brings with him many years of experience
in restaurants such as The Charcoal Steakhouse, The Stone Crock and
Waterloo Inn. Nick has been with us for over two years prior to taking on
the role of Executive Chef. You are sure to enjoy his delicious cuisine.
Barrie Montgomery:
Dining Room and Banquet Manager
Barrie has
lived in Kitchener her
whole life and has been a part of our team for over two and a half years
in our dining room. She brings with her over 35 years of experience in
the hospitality, restaurant and Customer Service industry. Barrie is
responsible for overseeing our dining room service and banquet
events. This includes the training of staff and ensuring the dining experience
is one you will truly enjoy.
Kathleen Wheeler, RPN: Director of Wellness
Kathleen is a
graduate RPN with over 24 years experience with a wealth of knowledge and
experience working with the elderly. Kathleen’s past was in working
with the Ministry of Health, Freeport Hospital, Doctor’s Offices, as
well as working in the Retirement Home Industry.
Fiona
Clementi: Marketing and Banquets
Director
Fiona is a graduate
from George Brown College in Gerontology and Human
Resources. She has over 10 years of experience in the Activation
department in the health industry, as well as 7 years in sales. Fiona
loves working with seniors and is excited to share her compassion with
the residents of Emmanuel Village. For your special event, Fiona
knows that every occasion is a special one and will ensure you will be
treated with the professionalism and care that you deserve.
Mark Carvalho: Environmental Supervisor
Mark has lived in
this area his whole life and continues his career as Environmental
Supervisor at Emmanuel Village. He brings with him an
extensive and well rounded expertise which he acquired over 10 years of
growth in the Facilities Management Industry. By joining our team, Mark
is responsible for preventative maintenance, grounds keeping as well as
overseeing our housekeeping and laundry services team.
Carie Dusick: Office Manager
Carie was born in Kitchener
and is happy to join our team and comes from Conestoga College with Business
Administration and Management Studies diploma. She brings with her many
years of experience in the Customer Service Industry. Carie has been with
us for over two years and her responsibilities include the overall
operation and organization of the office and reception area as well as
bookkeeping duties.
Rachel Gavendo: Activities
Director
Rachel is a recent
graduate of the Honors Recreation and Leisure Studies program at the
University of Waterloo and has enjoyed living in beautiful K/W for
over 6 years. Originally from the Toronto area, she has over 5 years
of experience planning and facilitating fun and exciting activities
in a number of hospitals, day programs and other retirement settings
with seniors. Rachel is dedicated to helping achieve health,
happiness and independence with those she works with. Her outgoing
and friendly personality makes every activity a gratifying
experience.
